When seasoned rider, Sue Hollis, left on her first long distance motorcycle trip, she had no idea if she would find the answers she was looking for. What would be coined as a “go-getter”, Sue had a successful business career and had it “all”. Until one day, when she woke up and realized that her lifestyle was causing a lot of mental and health related stress for her and that she had reached a point where she just couldn’t do it anymore. Everything she had worked for, that she thought defined her, wasn’t what she really wanted. And quitting her business, she decided that what she needed was to go on a solo motorcycle trip to find out who she really was. So with her family’s blessings, she left Australia for Canada, to begin her journey of discovery.
Setting out on a BMW S1000 RR, an unusual choice for a long distance ride, she travelled through Canada and the United States. Riding through deserts and over mountains, in sunshine and torrential downpours, she made life changing connections and discovered things about herself that would change the way she lives.
