A few years ago, while out on a fishing and camping trip, David and Em Morieson stumbled on the Adventure Film Festival in Australia. After spending much time talking with Brian Rix and Shirley Hardy Rix from Aussies Overland, they bought two of their travel books from them. And then that same day, while at the pub next to the film festival venue, they made the decision to do what Brian and Shirley did, go on a long distance motorcycle trip.
After saving and planning for several years, they rented out the house, quit their jobs and were off on the adventure of a life time, headed for South America.
From having to get used to riding on dirt to spending loads of time together, David and Em share some fun stories and the challenges they’ve faced so far on their adventure.
